AMS welcomes a select few boarders whom we consider family! We keep our boarding family small but occasionally have openings. Allison has been boarding horses for over 25 years and has extensive knowledge. Horses are fed twice daily with a custom mix that is formulated to provide protein, vitamins and minerals, and fat. We also offer select Tribute feeds and all horses have access to free-choice hay all day. Owner-provided supplements are fed daily and we worm rotationally. Daily turnout is a priority except in the instance of harsh weather conditions. All paddocks have heated stock tanks that are changed weekly and monitored daily. Stalls are bedded with shavings and cleaned daily. Each stall has its own GFI outlet and horses enjoy heated water buckets in the winter and fans in the summer. We offer a heated grooming/tacking barn where tack is stored. Our indoor is bright and has new sand footing that is groomed and maintained weekly. We have a large outdoor arena and jumps, including cross-country jumps. AMS works with several area veterinarians and two farriers to provide the best care possible. We schedule veterinary and farrier appointments and also handle the horses for them as well. We also maintain a schedule with our chiropractor, Daphne Moree, massage therapist Jamie Pachota as well as renowned equine dentist, Lance Ruben. Allison McKenzie and her husband Jeremy live on-site and all horses are closely monitored daily. The facility offers cross-country fences, jumping ring and an outdoor arena in addition to the indoor arena. We offer trailer parking as a bonus to our boarders. Board is $550/month.
