For Sale - Balmoral AMS (Bally):
Balmoral (Bally) is a 2021 bay filly out of an Oldenburg approved TB mare and by Belafonte d'Avalon. Bally is an exciting and powerful young lady who was designed for the Hunter/jumper ring. She has beautiful, flat-kneed movement and tons of presence and ability.
Bally's sire, Belafonte d'Avalon has some of the finest German Riding Pony bloodlines in the world - his dam, Mata Hari, is by Manhattan. His sire is the German Riding Pony Hilkens Black Delight who as a Weser-Em stallion won the 2005 Weser-Em licensing and was the first pony ever invited to the Oldenburger Stallion's Parade where he received a standing ovation. He was also described "as close to perfection as possible." The licensing committee described him "as close to perfection as possible" and that they hadn't seen as stunning a pony since his sire, Branduardi M won the licensing. Belafonte attended his 30-day licensing in October of 2010 and received some of the highest scores ever awarded in North America and Europe. Belafonte is currently Eventing and finished 2013 as Area V Champions at Training Level and eighth at the AEC's at Training Level.
Bally's dam is our own Thoroughbred mare, Watch Her Walk (by Notional) who possesses some of the best conformation of any of our mares. "Maya" is refined and feminine with an "all business" attitude that she passes onto her offspring.
Bally received surgery on a front foot as a weanling to correct a minor club foot and her price reflects this. However, she is fully sound and this will not affect her ability to do anything in her career. Radiographs are welcome at the buyers expense.
